The flash animation is very well done and has a storybook feel to it. The script is lyrical and mythic in feel. The music is sweeping and well-suited to the subject and animation. I like the interactive quality of the film where one clicks on a bantha horn to proceed forward, though sometimes it got a little old and I got tired of continually being jarred out of the film by the sound of a bantha wail. The story incorporates many wonderful trappings of Tatooine - B'omarr Monks, Aurra Sing, and, of course, Jawas - and puts them into the center of the story. Aurra Sing's appearance is especially well done with a sultry voice which gives her an alluring femme fatale quality. If anyone knows if Bain ever completed this series, please let me know and make this Happy Jawa happier. Lars Lee

The worst thing I can say about Ed Bain's The Finding Child is that it isn't completed. But what was left behind is very good.
